The Magic Box

Propusimos a los alumnos de 4º de ESO crear un poema inspirado en el poema de Kit Wright The Magic Box.

I WILL PUT IN THE BOX

I will put in the box
the scientific laws inside out,
the world in the eyes of a colour blind person,
the stars on the Earth and the Earth in the stars.

I will put in the box
a wave from the most silent beach,
a beam of the sun in a cold winter afternoon,
a flood in the hottest desert.

I will put in the box
all my memories,
all the moments in which I was happy,
all my impossible dreams.

I will put in the box
boys cleaning home
and girls working out,
while the children are playing with their elder brothers.

I will put in the box
the feelings of a teenage couple who love each other,
the meeting of two lovers.

I will put in the box
a new world where the bad things don´t exist
and everything is perfect for everybody.
